Wawel Castle in Krakow (Cracow)

For centuries, Polish kings and queens ruled Poland from Wawel Castle in Krakow. Even after the seat of political power moved to Warsaw, royal coronations continued at Wawel and Polish royalty continued to be buried there. Our Polish language students will visit the historic Wawel Castle complex as part of our Krakow tourist program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Things to see and do in Krakow during summer!

Cracovians often refer to their city as a great open "cafe" in the summer. While the city is known for its history, art and architecture, countless hours can also be spent strolling along Krakow's historic streets or sitting by a table enjoying a refreshing drink under the summer's sun at one of Krakow's countless outdoor summer cafes. Summer is an exceptionally exciting period in Krakow as not a day or evening goes by without some free concert, fair or festival in the city.
