A single Liberator Mk. VI of No. 138 Special Duty Squadron C (Polish) during a low pass over the Slovakian Tatra Mountains on its way back to Brindisi after a supply mission for the Warsaw Uprising during August 1944. The flight was a successor of decimated No. 301 (Polish) Bomber Squadron and its activity included supply sorties for the Resistance all over Nazi-occupied Europe.
