"Follow the Donald Duck" / "Sladem Kaczora Donalda"

Four Spitfire Mk. V B fighters of No. 2 Polish Fighter wing during the "Rodeo" sweep over the English Channel in the summer of 1942. The leader is C/O of No. 303 (Polish) Squadron - S/Ldr. Jan Zumbach, whose personal aircraft emblem was Walt Disney's Donald Duck. His wingman, coded RF-B also belongs to this unit, while the other two planes are from No. 317 (Polish) Squadron. The Wing, consisting of No. 303, 316 and 317 Squadrons, was fromed in August 1941.

Ltd editions are printed on 250 gram ISO 9706 guaranteed paper with UV protection coating. The reproduction print format is of 56 x 48 cm size of the painting plus a passe-partout of 4.5 cm, yielding total dimensions of 66 x 50 cm.

Each print is hand numbered and signed by the artist and includes signatures of pilots Wojciech Kolaczkowski, Stanislaw Skalski, Ludwik Martel, Werner Kirchner, Kazimierz Budzik and Waclaw Giermer

A special Ltd ed. series of 100 prints includes the same pilot signatures above as well as those of Jan Zurakowski, Piotr Kuryllowicz and Tadeusz Sawicz. [435 Euro]
