Poland European Union (EU) Logo

Polish is not just for Poles anymore!!! Many have traditionally learned Polish because of ancestry, interests in history or slavic languages. This is rapidly changing: On May the 1st 2004, Poland rejoined the European family as a full member of the European Union. With Poland's entrance into the EU, the learning of the Polish language is becoming ever more valuable. Poland is quickly becoming a gateway mediating business and information flow between Western/Central Europe and Russia/Eastern Europe. Thus, the Polish language is increasingly becoming an important tool for students, business people, professionals and others, who are seriously interested in commerce, trade, industry, politics or academics, science and technology in the Europe of the 21st century.
